FUSEL ART

Contemporary art

Where aviation becomes art.

Fusel Art brings contemporary artists into dialogue with authentic aeronautical components, transforming pieces of aviation history into original works of art and collectible design.

02 / Manifesto

Shaped by flight. Reimagined through art.

Once part of an aircraft, each component carries its own history. Fusel Art preserves that provenance while inviting artists to transform these objects into singular contemporary works — giving aviation heritage a new cultural life.

03 — About Fusel Art

Aviation heritage, transformed.

Fusel Art works with authentic aeronautical components and contemporary artists to create original works distinguished by their material history, artistic authorship and singular character.

Each piece exists at the intersection of aviation, art and design — limited, numbered and made to last.

Hand-painted originals

Hand-painted and signed by Costa Rican artists for your home.

Each component — window, panel, instrument or propeller — is painted by hand and signed by a Costa Rican artist, becoming a singular work that brings the character and provenance of flight into residential, hospitality and commercial interiors.

Flight instruments

Radar altimeters, kept whole and reimagined.

Authentic radar altimeters retained from the cockpit — dial, casing and wiring left intact, never dismantled or repurposed as salvage. Each instrument is painted in situ, so that where altitude was once read, a coastline now rests: palms, sea and a burning sky held within the housing. A flight instrument, kept whole and signed — a singular object at the meeting of aviation and art.
